Seven Deadly Mistakes When Wearing Mens Boots

When it comes to footwear, men have many options to choose from. Whether the choice is made because of the climate or for wanting to be fashionable, there is the right pair of shoes for every occasion. One type of footwear is mens boots. These boots are very practical and can be fashionable at the same time. However, mistakes can be made by many men when wearing boots. Let’s take a look at some common mistakes made by men who wear boots.

One of the first things worth mentioning is to keep in mind the climate and season. There is nothing worse than seeing a man in boots during the summer months. Just like you would not wear a winter coat in the middle of the summer, there is no reason to wear boots. Be aware of the season and dress appropriately, that includes your feet.

The next area worth mentioning is colour. Please keep brown boots with clothing that go with the colour pallet; the same rule goes for black boots. Also, your boots should always match your belt. Please do not pair a brown belt with black boots.

Over-sized boots are a thing of the past. Buy mens boots that fit well, boots that will not make you look like you have clown’s feet. Also, if the boots have laces, please use them and lace your boots firmly. It is not a fashion statement to have your boots loose, with your feet coming out with each step you take.

It is appropriate for women to wear their pant tucked into their boots; however that is not a fashion statement for men. The only time that is appropriate is when skiing. Another misconception is wearing more than one pairs of socks in the winter for extra warmth. There is no need for that if you make the right purchase when choosing mens boots. If your feet get very cold in the winter season, simply choose boots that have a fur lining in them.

The last two areas of concern when it comes to mens boots are price and purchasing boots strictly for fashion purposes. What I mean here, is that you don’t want to buy really cheap boots. That is because they generally will not be comfortable and will not last long. Not to mention keeping out the snow or rain. If price is a concern, meet in the middle. There are many affordable boots out there that will get the job done without breaking the bank. The second part to that is comfort. Don’t buy because the boots are in style for the season. Buy them because they are comfortable on your feet for walking.
